At a time when the number of road miles traveled by US drivers is declining precipitously, presumably owing to rising gas prices and a sluggish economy, Canadians are driving more, according to Statistics Canada!
What accounts for such contrarian behavior? Lack of pubic transit options? Immutable commuting distances and professional obligations?
