Will "Solar Valleys" be India's Silicon Valley?

A dynamic new initiative announced today by India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, as reported in today's Times of India.

The goal: 20,000 MW of solar energy, and the development of solar technologies, fabrication expertise, manufacturing and engineering expertise.

Can you say, "transformative?"
