The United States and India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding or framework focusing on developing opportunities for small and medium sized enterprises to become integrated in the global supply chain.
Building on the successful visit of India's prime minister Manmohan Singh to Washington in late 2009, this initiative promises to deepen ties between India and the US through the creation of export opportunities for companies in both countries.
